In 1988 Ace and Jennifer Lane set out to enhance their 30-acre
property along the Frying pan river in the mountainous terrain
of western Colorado. The project included the design and
construction of a magnificent pond and stream framed by red
rock cliffs, the planting of hundreds of mature evergreens,
and the installation of an irrigation system. Their sheer love
of this enterprise and the stunning results launched their
landscape company, windriver trees, into being. Shortly thereafter,
they hired a few select landscape architects and established noble
design studio, to meet the visionary design needs of their clients
in this rugged environment.
To awaken the imagination to the possibilities that await your
project, we have gathered a collection of images of our work and
have arranged them according to theme-spaces, Flora, water, stone,
design, and construction.
